The Team started in 2006 as an innovative project of the Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Faculty of Engineering of Bilbao and was originally named as Formula Student Bilbao. After two years of hard work and research, the FSB01 was manufactured, red colored and with the number 145 on it.

The team’s first prototype got to compete at the Silverstone Circuit.
