¡El FSB2016 va como un tiro!
¡Saludos desde el grupo transmisión de nuevo! Es un placer estar en contacto con vosotros otra vez y poneros al día.
Como ya os contamos en la anterior noticia del grupo, ya teníamos engranajes, sólo faltaba ponerlos a rodar y como no, lo hemos hecho a nuestra manera. Después de unos ensayos en banco motor dimos por validad nuestra reductora. Cualquier día de estos ya tendremos las 2 que van a ir en el coche.
Por otra parte, el accumulator container ya va cogiendo forma y ya hemos acabado con la fabricación de todos los packs de los que está compuesto. Estos están hecho de aramida (También llamado kevlar), material del que están compuestos los chalecos antibalas, pero esta tela viene en rollos y hay que endurecerla y darle forma hasta el punto de que aguante los esfuerzos que nos exige la normativa por la seguridad de nuestros pilotos.
Ese proceso de laminación consta de las siguientes fases:
-Cortar la aramida
-Preparar todos los útiles que se van a utilizar
-Laminar con resina
-Aplicar vacío
-Desmoldear
Es mucho el trabajo que hace falta para sacar un coche adelante pero en Formula Student Bizkaia nunca perdemos la sonrisa. Todavía tenemos mucho más que contaros en las próximas semanas así que… ¡Seguid atentos!
Greetings from the transmission group again! It's a pleasure to get in touch with you again and keep you up to date with the things we have been doing during these days.
As we told you in the previous group new, we had the gears already manufactured so only the tests were missing. As everything that Transmission Group does, we have done it our way. After a few trials at the engine test, we validate them. So soon the two gearboxs will be ready.
Moreover, the accumulator container is already taking shape, as we have done all packs which it is composed. These are made of aramid (also called kevlar), a material used to make bulletproof vests. This fabric comes in rolls and we have to harden and shape it so that it can support the efforts that our safety regulations demand.
This rolling process consists of the following phases:
-Cut Aramid
-Prepare all the tools to be used
- Laminate using resin
- Create vacuum
- Remove it from the mould
Many work is needed to manufacture a car but in Formula Student Bizkaia we never lose the smile. We still have more to tell you in the coming weeks so ... Stay tuned!
