Drivetrain challenge
Formula Student Bizkaia no descansa, y el grupo Drivetrain menos aún. Aquí os vamos a avanzar todo lo referente a lo que se está dedicando el grupo y los avances que traemos para esta temporada.
Como el año pasado, mantendremos caja epicicloidal como manera de transmitir la potencia del motor a las ruedas. Sin embargo, estamos trabajando en un diseño más innovador que reduzca el peso del conjunto y sea más eficiente que el año pasado.
Para ello, hemos abierto las epicicloidales del FSB2016 y las hemos analizado al detalle en busca de información que nos ayude con nuestro objetivo. Una vez analizados todos los engranajes, Asier Beascoechea, máximo encargado en este ámbito, está diseñando y calculando el nuevo conjunto.
Además, el grupo también se está centrando en mejorar sus conocimientos en materiales compuestos para reducir el peso del Accumulator Container. Para ello realizaremos ensayos a 3 puntos y a cortante con distintos materiales que ya os informaremos.

Like last year, we will keep an epicyclic box as a way to transmit the power of the engine to the wheels. However, we are working on a more innovative design that will reduce the overall weight and be more efficient than last year. To do this, we have opened the epicyclicals of FSB2016 and we have analyzed them in detail looking for information that will help us with our objective. Once all gears have been analyzed, Asier Beascoechea, the top engineer in this area, is designing and calculating the new set.
In addition, the group is also focusing on improving their knowledge of composite materials to reduce the weight of the Accumulator Container. For this we will carry out 3 point bending and shear tests with different materials that we will inform you.
