Grupo chasis es ese grupo incomprendido, ese grupo que trabaja diferente, los locos de la fibra de carbono. Al hablar de este grupo lo que todos los integrantes de Formula Student Bizkaia, dirían, hacen el monocasco, el asiento, morro, reposacabezas y estudio ergonómico y de seguridad del vehículo. Lo que cualquier miembro de chasis te diría es que somos el grupo más unido, la pequeña gran familia dentro de FSB.
El hecho de que ocurra esto se debe al tiempo que pasan sus miembros trabajando codo con codo, ya que el proceso de diseño y fabricación se desarrolla íntegramente dentro del equipo, únicamente dejando de lado el fresado de los modelos, pero su tratamiento, fabricación de molde y fabricación de pieza se desarrolla íntegramente dentro del equipo. Este año afrontamos la temporada con un nuevo diseño de monocasco, más aerodinámico, seguro y ligero. Además, hemos conseguido una posición de conducción mejorada, debido al cambio del asiento y el reposacabezas
Chassis group is that group that no body understand, that group that’s works diferent, the crazy ones of carbon fiber. If you ask to anybody in Formula Student Bizkaia about chassis, everybody says that we make the monocoque, the seat, the headrestrain and the nose cone, also we make the ergonomic study and security of the vehicle. But if you ask any chassis member he will respond you that we are the most united group, the little family in FSB.
The fact of that is the time that their members share working hand by hand, due to the design and the manufacturing process, both ones developed in the team, only leaving aside the milling of the models, but the treatment, the mold and part manufacturing are developed entirely in FSB. This year we face the season with a new monocoque design, more aerodynamic, safer and lighter. We also have achieved a new driving position, due to the change on the seat and the headrestrain.
