Spreading the simulation group
A pesar del jaleo de la temporada, el grupo Simulador sigue adelante a buen ritmo. Los rookies que se unieron al grupo han mostrado gran interés y ya estan familiarizados con el entorno de simulación. No solamente eso, sino que también han sido capaces de llevar a cabo ciertas tareas que hará que el programa mejore. Dentro de no tanto, serán ellos los responsables del grupo Simulador y tendrán que poner en práctica todo lo que han aprendido con una tarea de más peso, de forma que cada año podamos acercarnos más a nuestro objetivo. Es decir, predecir la dinámica del vehículo con bastante precisión.
Mientras tanto, una de nuestras entidades colaboradoras, el AIC, nos ha ofrecido la oportunidad de probar nuestro modelo en sus instalaciones de simulaciones de conducción. Esperemos ser capaces de afinar el modelo de forma que nuestros pilotos tengan un primer contacto con el coche y a ser posible, entrenar a nuestros pilotos. Os mantendremos informados con los avances!!
The rush of the season doesn’t prevent the Simulation Group from keeping up the good work!! The rookies that joined the group on September have shown a good attitude and are already familiar with our simulation environment. Not only have they achieved a good understanding of it, but also have been able to perform small but necessary tasks that will make it run more smoothly. In the near future, they will be in charge of the Simulation Group and they will have to put into practice all what they’ve learnt up to now with a big task so that each year, we get closer to our objective, that is, to be able to predict our car’s behaviour with a fair accuracy.
Meanwhile, one of our supporting institutions, the AIC, has offered us the opportunity to test our simulation model in their driving simulation facilities. We hope that we will be able to tune up our model so that our drivers could have a first contact with our car and if possible, be able to train our drivers there. We’ll keep you posted!!
