First manufacture… then assemble!
Después de unas duras semanas en las que todo el equipo ha estado dando el máximo para que todas las piezas del coche pudiesen estar fabricadas a tiempo… el periodo de fabricación ha terminado para dar paso al periodo de montaje, quizás más duro si cabe, debido a las fechas de entrega tan ajustadas con las que trabajamos.
Monocasco, morro, asiento, firewall, reposacabezas… diferentes piezas que por separado no significan nada, pero que juntas son el alma del producto del trabajo del grupo Chassis. Todas estas piezas hay que tenerlas hechas, lijadas, pintadas, viniladas y barnizadas a tiempo para que el resto de grupos puedan montar los componentes restantes en el coche antes de su presentación.
Estamos en esas últimas semanas de trabajo antes de ver el coche completo y en movimiento… Mucho ánimo a todos los grupos que ya casi lo tenemos.
After some weeks of hard work from all the team’s members, giving their maximum effort to have all the different parts of the car manufactured in time… Fabrication gives its place to Assemble, a period even more exhausting because of the extremely tight deadlines we are working with.
Monocoque, nose, seat, firewall, head restraint… different pieces that have no meaning by themselves, but that are the heart and soul of the Chassis group. All of this pieces have to be made, sanded, painted, wraped in vinyl and glossed on time to give the rest of the groups all the time they need to assemble their components before the car’s presentation.
We are on these final weeks of work before we can see the car complete and rolling… Keep on going, we are nearly there.
