CFD course tought by BCAM
Para conseguir un buen coche, se debe diseñar con cabeza. Por eso mismo, durante estos últimos meses hemos podido disfrutar de un curso sobre CFD impartido por BCAM. En este curso, distint@s ponentes nos han introducido en el estudio aerodinámico de un coche de carreras para poder optimizar la aerodinámica de nuestro vehículo. Empezando por las bases del cálculo fluido-dinámico, poco a poco el nivel de las clases formativas ha ido aumentando, hasta poder desarrollar simulaciones para analizar y comprender cómo se comporta el flujo del aire alrededor del coche.
A pesar de tratarse de un curso enfocado en la aerodinámica, tod@s l@s miembr@s del equipo han podido asistir a estas clases, ya que se trata de un campo de estudio muy amplio e interesante, sobre el que hace falta aprender mucho más.
Debido a esto, nos gustaría agradecer el gran esfuerzo que han hecho l@s profesor@s al impartir este intensivo curso sobre CFD, tal y como hicieron la temporada pasada. Muchas gracias por todo lo que nos habéis aportado.
To get a good car, you must design carefully. For this purpose, during these last months we have been attending a course about CFD taught by BCAM. In this course, different lecturers have introduced us in the aerodynamic study of a racing car to optimize the aerodynamics of our vehicle. Beginning with the bases of the computational fluid dynamics, little by little the level of the lessons has been increasing, until being able to develop simulations to analyze and understand how the air flow behaves around the car.
In spite of being a course focused on aerodynamics, all the members of the team have been able to attend these classes, since it is a very broad and interesting field of study, on which it is necessary to learn much more.
We would like to thank the great effort that the teachers have made during this intensive course on CFD, just as they did last season. Thank you very much for everything you have taught us.
