The Biennial International Exhibition of Machine Tools (BIEMH) is one of the world's most important events in the industrial machinery sector. Held every two years at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Baracaldo, it is the third most important industrial fair in Europe and the leading fair in its sector in Spain. For this edition, different types of industries have gathered around BIEMH: Addit3D, BeDIGITAL and WORKinn. As a result, companies from different industrial sectors can be found at the fair, including machine tools, automation and robotics, additive manufacturing, components and accessories, software, and more. 

  

Once again, thanks to the collaboration between Formula Student Bizkaia and the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC), the team had a stand in the WORKinn area. Having a stand in one of the most important trade fairs in Europe adds value to the project and offers the opportunity to present and promote it in an exceptional setting. During an intense week, various members of the team had the opportunity to explain the team and the car to curious visitors to the stand and to make contacts with many companies in the six pavilions where BIEMH is held. 

  

This year, however, the visibility of Formula Student Bizkaia was doubled thanks to Dassault Systèmes and Cadtech, who gave us the opportunity to present our car on their stand. Given this opportunity, the team decided that it was the best platform to present the new car for the 2023-2024 season, the FSB2024. Dassault Systèmes, a sponsor that provides us with a cloud platform to create the 3D model of the car, and Cadtech, a sponsor that offers advice on the development of these models, prepared a magnificent stand where we presented the objectives of our project. And what better way to do this than to showcase our latest creation.
