Team Managers

The team needs a number of different managers with various skill sets. Technical managers lead technological development activities. They tend to possess a high degree of expertise in a given technical area, so that they must be able to lead a team developing that code. Moreover, the financial and organization managers will be in charge of the group working smoothly, making sure everything works properly.

Chassis Group

Chassis  group is responsible for the design, calculus and manufacture of structural parts of the vehicle. They develop the elements as the monocoque. Moreover they also develop different pieces as the seat, anti-roll arches or headrest. One of the main objectives of every year is reducing weight keeping the pilot safe and conformtable  and innovating with the designs and materials used.

Dynamics Group

Dynamics group is responsible for giving the vehicle an interaction zone with the ground and making it capable of moving in a controlled way and react in a predictable manner to the pilots orders. In order to achieve this, dynamics group is in charge of the vehicle dynamics and the design, manufacture and maintainance of the mechanical assemblies that make up the unsprung mass of the vehicle: corners and suspensión. It also handles the steering assembly, the brake system and the pedal box.

Electronics Group

Electronics group is in charge of low voltage systems of the vehicle. Among its core responsibilities are the reading and acquisition of data from pedalboards, managing the state machines of Electronic Control Units (ECU), monitoring and controlling battery temperatures and voltages, as well as designing and fabricating Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). These functions collectively contribute to enhancing the performance, reliability, and efficiency of electronic systems across diverse applications.

Powertrain Group

Powertrain group is responsible for the high voltage traction system: from the accumulator (batteries system) to the motors including inverters. Its aim is to develop a strong, reliable and powerful tractive system and for this reason is in charge of the design, validation, construction and development of the assembly.

Furthermore, its aim is also to transmit the power generated in the motors to the wheels of the car. This group is in charge of mainshafts, epicyclics, bearings and all supports and anchoring systems of these components to the monocoque.

Simulation & Control Group

Simulation & Control is in charge of maximising the potential of our car by developing complex control algorithms that distribute power to each wheel. The group is also in charge of developing a sensor data aquisition system to asses car performance and safety, as well as a remote communication system to monitor this data in real-time. Furthermore, the group models, simulates and analyses vehicle performance to aid team members in the design stages.
