Driving Bilbao is one of the most important events for the team, as it allows the electric single-seater to drive through the main streets of Bilbao, giving the city the opportunity to get a closer look at the work and innovation developed by the team. Since its inception in 2015, Driving Bilbao has become a tradition, acting as the start and grand finale of Science Week (Zientzia Astea). During the event, the vehicle is escorted by the Bilbao Municipal Police and drives through emblematic streets of the city, such as Alameda Rekalde, Gran Vía, Plaza Moyúa, City Hall and Arenal. This initiative not only highlights the talent and dedication of the engineering students, but also aims to inspire the local community and encourage interest in science and technology.
