“THE SPARKS” ARE GETTING READY
El montaje del FSB2017 está a la vuelta de la esquina y en el grupo de Power&Control queremos estar preparados para cuando el momento llegue. Tener todo a punto requiere la fabricación de varias piezas, así como la comprobación de los diferentes sistemas eléctricos. En lo que a nuestro preciado acumulador se refiere, por ejemplo, el montaje de todos los packs está a punto de concluir. Las conexiones entre packs ya han sido fresadas y las piezas de prototipado 3D impresas, gracias a la generosa colaboración de Montte y la impresora 3D que nos han cedido.
Todas las placas que forman el sistema de batería baja están rutadas, soldadas y programadas. En estos momentos estamos comprobándolas y asegurando que leen y transmiten de manera adecuada. Además, nuestro programador particular, está trabajando en una interfaz web para que cualquier miembro del equipo pueda visualizar los datos adquiridos por el sistema de telemetría.
La caja que contiene los inversores, por su parte, está siendo rellenada con los diferentes componentes que forman el circuito. Queda poco para que el componente clave que convierte la corriente continua proporcionada por nuestras baterías en corriente trifásica para alimentar nuestros motores, este completamente montada.
Durante la próxima semana se procederá a la comprobación de los diferentes sensores que llevará el FSB2017; así como la inserción de los packs en los housings y la colocación de estos dentro de la caja del acumulador.
The assembly of the FSB2017 is right around the corner and in the Power&Control group we want to be ready for when the time comes. Being all prepared requires the manufacturing of several parts, as well as the testing of the different electric systems. As far as to our beloved accumulator is concerned, for instance, the mounting of the packs is about to conclude. The maintenance plugs have already been milled and the 3D prototyping parts printed, thanks to the generous collaboration of Montte and the 3D printer that they have let us.
All the electronic boards that from the low battery system are routed, solded and programmed. Currently we are testing them and making sure they read and transmit properly. Furthermore, our programming expert is working on a web interface, so that all the members of the team can visualize the data acquired by the telemetry system.
The box containing the inverters, on the other hand, is being filled up with the components that form the circuit. Shortly, the key car part which transforms the direct current provided by our batteries in triphasic current to feed our engines, will be completely assembled.
This coming week we will proceed with the testing of several sensors that the FSB2017 will contain; as well as the insertion of the packs in the housings and the colocation of these inside the accumulator container.
